Types of Services:

Individual Counseling

50-55 minute Telehealth sessions: $165 

​

I believe therapy should be accessible, whenever possible. I have limited sliding scale scholarships available on an as-needed basis at $135 and $150/session.

​

I accept most Aetna, United, Oscar, and Oxford plans for Colorado and Florida residents.

​

I accept these insurances through a company called Alma. Alma communicates directly with your insurance and charges your copay/session cost. This (usually) makes using insurance for therapy as smooth as possible.

​​

I offer 15 minute FREE phone consultations for new clients to explore what is bringing you into counseling, discuss what it is like working specifically with me, and answer any questions you may have

​​

Our intro call can give you a sense of what it will be like working with me- my voice, pacing, structure, etc. It is a great tool for listening to your intuition and inner wisdom regarding therapist "fit". My goals are that you feel understood, any questions you have are answered, and we both get a sense of whether my skills and focus are a wonderful fit for working together.

What to Expect During Your Appointment:

​

Prior to our first meeting, we will schedule a free 15-20 minute introductory phone call to answer any questions you may have, gather information about what is bringing you into counseling, and make sure we are a wonderful fit for working together. Then, we will schedule our first appointment together. After our call, I will email you a link with a few forms to fill out before our first appointment. 

​

 

During our first appointment, we will explore what is bringing you into therapy in more detail and we will begin to identify core themes and goals for our work together. 

​

 

Sessions last 50-55 minutes. You can decide how frequently you would like to schedule sessions- weekly or every other week. I recommend that new clients attend weekly sessions for the first 2-4 appointments, because research shows more frequent sessions at the beginning of the therapy process can help you to feel more motivated, stay more engaged in the therapy process, and see concrete results faster. That being said, we can absolutely work with your schedule and individual needs.

I work both with clients who prefer to meet for 6-12 sessions and focus on a specific goals (brief therapy model), and also with clients who prefer to access longer-term support around self-growth and evolving life challenges (6-12+ months). We can talk about both the pacing of therapy and whether longer or shorter term support fits for you. You can always stop, pause, or shift the frequency of sessions- therapy is here to support your goals.

Many clients like having "homework" between sessions to try out new communication techniques, incorporate new coping skills, and create changes in their relationships and life outside of therapy. We can discuss ways to experiment with the tools we discuss- and share about your results and experiences the following sessions!
